This is an image I have been working on to accompany an architecture article for my magazine brief. The article is titled A Disdain for urban planning is the problem, not overcrowding. With influence taken from Nigel Peake's work - posted earlier, I have tried to create a collage of city buildings to create the message of tightly packed, overcrowded urban environment.
A character which I struggled with at the beginning, but it later influenced the rest of my spreads and goat characters.
Colour development has been explored, still more to come! Above is pencil crayon and water colour medium.
I've been working on a rough book plan for the story The Wolf and the Seven Little Kids which I will then make into a dummy book along with 4 final coloured artworks. As yet to be completed are the 3D elements, so here are a few which still need a few tweaks before final production!
